This is a short tutorial to install Postfix, Courier-authlib and  Courier-imap in Opensuse 11.1 x86_64 O/s
This tutorial also working for other x86_64 o/s or 64 bit O/s

Install C Compiler and Dependencies

zypper in gcc gcc-c++ ncurses-devel pam-devel automake gettext-tools db1 db43 db43-devel libdb-* libopenssl-devel*

Edit ld.so.conf and add 1 lines below

#vi /etc/ld.so.conf

When i tried add a domain into cpanel addon it shows

Error from park wrapper: Using nameservers with the following IPs: <ip>,<ip> Sorry, the domain is already pointed to an IP address that does not appear to use DNS servers
associated with this server. Please transfer the domain to this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ip.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver.

It's mean, My domain ex: testing.com is not using the cpanel/whm DNS or nameservers.
This can be solved by :

We will start to map virtual domain to support IMAP.
So we just discuss about how to map virtual domain to support imap here.

FYI : in this tutorial i still using same configuration from How To install Postfix, Cyrus-SASL and VM-pop3d.

In this tutorial i assume you already have postfix, cyrus-sasl and courier Imap running in OpenSUSe server.

If you still don't have any mailserver running on your server.
